Converting from raw to filesystem 2006-02-08 - By zhu chao
On some unix there is some overhead needed and some not. On AIX i think it is 4k.
Anyway, using rman to copy the datafiles from raw to filesystem will always work for all platforms, no offset to consider at all:)
